Well, yesterday's episode was a new one... today's is a rerun from last year (which ties in nicely to what they're trying to do.... it is the Fairytale Emergency episode). So I don't know if they really are planning to do this, or what. Personally, I hope they put them in the rerun breakdowns, so the new episodes can run allong side them.

You know... From the description on MuppetCast #79, it sounds as if the 2001/2002 Hurricane episodes of Sesame Street, in a more or less condensed version will be released on DVD as Friends to the Rescue in the upcoming three-video set. Oh well. And Becky, contact Boober_Gorg to see if he can help you get those episodes, they're 3976-3980.

I vaguely remember that story arc; I really liked it, even though the chance of a hurricane in SS (Which is set in NY) is very unlikely. I do believe that this is the only time Zoe or Alan end up speaking to A certain frog news reporter

.I'd say they decided against it somehow... unless they used the "Fairy Tale Emergency" episode instead... but then again, it probably was going to air like that anyway, being a last season rerun they mix in with the new episodes.
