Forgive my ignorance, but who's Willy?
Willy was an old man with a long white beard who ran a hot dog stand on the show during the seventies and eighties (and possibly nineties, but I don't know when he left). He was played by puppet builder kermit Love. he can be seen in the background throughout Follow That Bird (In fact, during the first street scene, Big Bird says, "hi, Willy").

A nice hidden joke about Willy: he wears a yellow Big Bird feather in his hat! (Kermit built the original BB body.)

Okay, I know who Willy is now. Actually, I remember Big Bird saying "hi" to him in "Follow That Bird" now that I think about it. Thanks for the quick answer.

I wish on the Sesame Street Encyclopedia website there'd be a section for the humans that have and are on the show.

Okay, just thought I'd add to this thread after having recently seen some more Sesame Street videos.
By the way, there's definitely more humans that show up in the Sesame Street's 25th. Birthday: A Musical Celebration video. Bob definitely shows up and there may be some more in the end.
And to clarify, in Elmo's Sing-Along Guessing Game
on the "My Best Friend" song- when Uncle Wally shows up with his friend, I'm pretty sure he calls her "May." I don't know if she ever showed up in anything else, but now that I've had a chance to watch the video, she does look vaguely familiar, sitting there with Uncle Wally.

Apparently, he sold the hot dog stand and gave up the business!

Kermit Love also created the Snuggles Bear.
