I'm not 100% SURE, but I believe he's holding a grudge. I believe he had a dispute with Kimp, and thought it was HIS fault, but he ended up getting the bannishment. That Announcer has his e-mail, maybe he an find out when he's coming back.
This post has been edited from its original state. Apologies to Kimp for the frank discussion of what has happened in the past. I must say, Kimp, you're a great guy to have around now, and your promise to not insult people when you came back has been held.
I can tell you pretty well exactly what happened. It began with Big Brother, where HPDJ was playing Kermit (and Big Brother) and Kimp was Fozzie. Now, the first week, Kimp got voted out. Kimp then said he was refusing to leave the game, and that (if memory serves me right) HPDJ 'fixed' the game to make him lose. HPDJ began to argue with him, saying that he was trying to cheat and calling him a massive liar for accusing him of rigging the game. Kimp finally left the house under protest.
Hold on a minute.
About two weeks later, over in "The Muppet's Cat", HPDJ posted this response for the letter M:
Kermit's cat is a manking cat!
Now, I don't know what 'manking' means, and you probably don't either (unless you're British, or you're really hip). Kimp then asked what 'manking' meant. HPDJ then said it was a British slang word, with no further explanation. Kimp then said something to him about "not posting British slang words, they look like swears, I could be using American slang on here and you'd think I was cussin' but you'd be wrong". He also accused (by HPDJ's translation) of Dale's being stupid due to his young age. So then HPDJ PM'd me (and, if he followed up on his promise, many others) and told me about all this. I said I'd be over there to back him up. This is one of the few promises I've ever broken. I never told HPDJ why I didn't want to come over; namely, because I didn't want to get into a fight, as I wasn't in the mood. (I'm no CO, but I try not to fight unless I really want to.)
I don't remember him being around much after that, but when he was around, he didn't seem to be in a very good mood. He became tenser, and exhibited less of the energy that endured him to us all. It was around this time I created the Rio Grande, and made a promise that the first person to join up would become a mod. Dale was the first to join up, and we made the first few posts over there.
Around the third of July, I hopped into my grandparents' car and headed to Vermont. We showed up late on the first day there, so we missed the fireworks and such. I was in Massachusetts on a public computer in a hotel when I got a PM from Harvey Towers with something about 'Little Brother' on it. I didn't know what was going on, so I headed to the Rio Grande to see if Dale had posted anything. Sure enough, he had posted saying that he had been banned from MC. I didn't discuss it, for fear I'd get banned too.
Since then, he's not been here or there, or on his own forum. I've mailed him a few times, and he's not yet responded.
We want you back, good buddy.
