Hmmm....anyone heard about what's going on in Fargo, ND? Yeah. We had a blizzard while battling a flood! People have been sandbagging day and night, non-stop! They said the Red River was supposed to crest at 41 by Friday. Well as of this morning, they raised to to 43 by Saturday. Good stuff!

Swear to God, if this flood touches my 360, Muppets, DVDs, comics, and action figures...I'm going to punch it right in the face! :grouchy:

ouch.. that's tough telly..
here in alaska we're just all waiting to see if we're getting snow, rain, or ash fall from day to day... so far i've been lucky and ash from the volcano's on going eruptions has not yet really fallen where I live.. but it's just a matter of time.. and winds...
meanwhile, temps seem to be fairly steady in the 30's and low 40's.. spring might finally decide to show up soon

It's crazy! We're talking record breaking flooding here in Fargo! They're evacuating people! It feels like a movie!

make sure your muppets (and anything else important..) are all sealed up in waterproof bags and placed up real high before you leave if you have to (and can't take em with you..) and good luck Telly!

yes.. good thing our states aren't closer together..
though our volcano isn't much of the lava flow sort.. it just likes to shoot out rocks and lots and lots of ash... (thankfully it's about 150 miles away, so i only have to worry about the ash part...) but they say it could go on for months.. last time it blew it went off and on for about 4 months.
i'm hoping it doesn't last that long this time.. we haven't gotten much ash from it, but the gasses and other gunk are making it hard for me to breathe

I use to live in nebraska, right along the river, and I remember hearing about all the annual flood in the Dakotas.. including the "iconic" ones where they showed all the footage of people being pulled out of trees and such.. am glad i've missed out on that so far.. (did get caught in a much smaller flash flood.. in my car.. once.. didn't enjoy that at all.. neither did my car... had to replace the engine...)

Sorry for all you with Volcanoes and floods around/near you.

It's been raining all week here. Could be worse.

We're supposed to get 8-12 inches of snow tomorrow (Monday). I don't think we need that right now! :stick_out_tongue:
