Yikes.
Last night at about midnight there was a strong thunderstorm for about an hour. This morning on the news I see it did some of this type of damage throughout Philly, but nothing to my house. But last year a tree fell on my brother's vehicle in his driveway and he sent me a photo of it on the computer. Here it is
Wow, it looks like he lucked out there, did it damage the car at all?

Beautiful house, Fish'n'wolfe. Cleared the tree out?
Thank you, it really is a wonderful house, it's where I grew up. I spent the whole day cutting up the tree, along with a lot of help from a neighbor and his friend. We got it all sawed, I'll take some pictures tomorrow and post a couple.

High 80, overcast most of the day and then sunny in the late afternoon.

Breakfast: Portabella mushroom burger.
Lunch: A small deep dish pizza.
Supper: Lasagna.

No damage done, so yes he sure did luck out!

And today's weather I can hardly believe it was only 75! Was wondering how long it would be before we'd have a temp like that again! Course, it wasn't one of those sunny blue sky gentle breeze low humidity gorgeous 75 days. The lower temp was partly due to cloudiness and intermittent rain showers. The humidity was high, too (obviously, since it rained a lot). Still, we sure will take it! So much better than that 90's crud! And Wednesday and Thursday we are in for a real treat of lower humidity (they say tomorrow night will be COMFORTABLE for sleeping! Woohoo! Quite a contrast to the frequently used word, STEAMY, for nighttime forecasts).

Here in Dallas it's partly cloudy, with a high of 94. Chance of storms, maybe.

In Philly a little warmer today than they forecasted. High of 87F,30C. At least it's still better than the previous heat waves. Humidity was not exactly low, but not so harsh either. And they still have the word, "comfortable" in tonight's forecast! (Low going down to 65F,18C). Better sleeping weather for a change.
