Ha, I was right. REALLY bad thunderstorms last night. I wasn't online 'cause the power was on the fritz. It was beautiful, though. Lighting every 5 seconds... wouldn't wanna be outside in it, though!

Yeah MUGGY continues to be the operative word here too. Mid or late next week the humidity MAY finally come down a LITTLE they say. At least there is supposed to be some showers this evening to cool things off a bit.

Today: I now know even more what you're going through, Ziffel and DS. The heat **** near killed me today when I went out for a little walk. I emptied three Pepsis so far, and I expect to be having more in the short six hours before I hit the sack.

Breakfast: Pop-Tart, iced tea.
Lunch: Meat Pizza Pocket, Pepsi, nacho chips
Supper: Cheeseburgers, Pepsi

Well today it's forecast to be about 24 degrees celsius and we're heading down the street (literally) to the beach for a day of sandcastles and bbq. A whole lotta family piling down too. Lucky for us by the beach it shouldn't get too hot cos we have a lovely cool sea breeze (just to annoy everyone with the muggy weather).

Breakfast - toast
Lunch/tea - bbq and snacks - and no doubt a 99 icecream.

Quite a bit of rain today since early morning. But even when it wasn't raining, the one constant has been the chronic MUGGINESS. Tomorrow is forecasted to be quite oppressive:

Mostly cloudy in the morning...then becoming partly cloudy. A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs around 90. South winds around 5 mph. Afternoon heat index around 100.

But as much as I hate high humidity, I'd still rather have this then the wintry weather. I despise the snow, ice and blustery winds. A lot of people like the snow but I hate plowing and shoveling it and I hate driving in it. (Have to admit though, with all this heat and humidity lately a blustery wintry day doesn't exactly sound all so bad at the moment!)

Today, more hot weather. Sweat dripping off me, pretty much sat around and did nothing all day. I've drained four Pepsis so far and will have at least two more with supper (and iced tea later on, and I had three glasses of water earlier there). High: dunno, it was just high.

Breakfast: sausages that fell apart, potatoes, iced tea
Lunch: half a hamburger, Ruffles, Diet Pepsi
Supper: Pizza, Diet Pepsi, garlic fingers
