Today's weather: Still hot. Enough said.


Just kidding. It's really hot, highs in the 90's and we've had no rain for days. We really need it. Hopefully it will rain soon.

Breakfast: Bowl of Cheerios
Lunch: Sandwich
Dinner: No idea, when it's hot my mom and I don't like to cook so much

You know something funny? When I typed the word bowl above, I accidentally added an f at the end so it spelled Bowlf, so it looked like Rowlf. Do I spend too much time at this place???? Who knows.

The temperature in Memphis is only 85 Fahrenheit, but humidity makes it feel like 100. Yuck.

How high humidity makes for a bad day? Or in this case, night?

Today on the North East coast of England it has been horribly muggy, 23 degrees celsius and I really want a good, rollicking summer storm to come along and clear the air.

Oh and, breakfast a bit of toast, lunch peanut butter sandwich and an apple and tea chick sticks, mushy peas and chips (um fries for all you USA types - I don't eat crisps with my tea)

How high humidity makes for a bad day? Or in this case, night?

The Mythbusters were on while the humidity attacked, so I kept myself entertained at least.

Looks like for MC users it's muggy muggy everywhere! And Philly is no exception. About 85 today but very humid again. And depressingly, the latest is that there's no relief in sight (guess it was wishful thinking eh, Docnzhoss? ). Every upcoming day in the forecast has a word like steamy, sticky, muggy, humid, BLAH!!!!!
I see in Las Vegas it is only 4% humidity (ahhhhh!) but 113 degrees!
I wonder which would be the more tolerable atmosphere right now -> temps near 90 with high humidity or 113 degrees but zilch humidity? Oh well, one of these days Philly will have one of those rare perfect days - 75 degrees and 30% humidity. Again I go sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Dry heat always seemed to be better (for me, at least). You can escape dry heat by drinking water or ducking into an air conditioned building. But with humidity, stepping out of an ACd building will be like walking into a wall of heat.

Yeah I'm inclined to agree with you there. If the heat is dry then a higher temp is still nicer to deal with. It's just that 113 degrees (45 degrees Celsius) sounds a little TOO high, despite the almost zero humidity. Probably why they call Death Valley, California the name they do. It gets over 120 there but very dry. (I think I once heard that it reached 140 (60 celsius). Of course, that's desert area so water might be hard to find in certain spots for relief!
And great to have you back posting with us, That Announcer. Great that you got to enjoy a traveling vacation. And by the way, my brother just bought the dvd of "Million Dollar Baby" yesterday too.
