Well yesterday the weather got kind of scary. It had been pretty warm all day and then last night suddenly we were slammed with severe thunderstorms and tornadoes. My neighborhood lost power and alot of trees, but everyone is ok and my house is still standing! Anyway, today it's much nicer, cooler and more like fall!

Today: this is what it felt like. High 91, with LOTS OF BURNING SUN.

For Breakfast: Honeynut Cheerios
For Lunch: Ice cream
For Supper:

Sunny w/ cool breezes in the a.m., rainy in the p.m. (finally! a change!)

Brekkie:1/4 of buttered bagel
Lunch: salad, green tea, vanilla wafer cookie
Supper: too much pasta and sauce. Waaaaay too much. I feel gross.
Water throughout the day...

A little warm (about 85) but a breeze, low humidity, and a clear blue sky made it rather pleasant again. Just finished KFC for dinner (chicken [original recipe] and biscuits]).

We've had vicious storms since last night. It was quite violent around 9 or so yesterday. When it started up, I thought it was an airplane I heard, but then I kept hearing it, and I realized it was rain pelting the house. Mokey (our dog) has been cowering under the computer for most of that time.
