How to make a caricature?

I just wrote a post on the Hoggworks Blog about making caricatures, as Staceyrebecca asked me a while ago, and it got me thinking. I don't think my answer is amazing, but if anyone wants to take a read and offer feedback, that would be very cool:

I spent alot of time looking at one of the pictures... Hahahahaha...

OK, I've done a few of these myslef, including Bono's buddy Axl Rose.
I love making them, and have many of my friends, to torment them with!
