I have a 1986 Talking Big Bird and, until this morning, his beak and eyes moved in sync to the cassette tape inside him. Now the beak works but the eyes just occasionally move. Does anyone know how to fix this toy? Thanks:frown:

I've had three of those in my life. The first two kept breaking a lot, so I still have the third one. I wonder if it still works. Anyway, it seems that it really is a gear problem. Those toys seem to be pretty sensitive. They also have a talking Cookie Monster and Oscar the Grouch. :grouchy:

I have Big Bird, Cookie Monster, and Oscar all in great shape but I dont know whether or not they work. Has anyone seen these on Ebay before and remember how much they were going for?
