OK, since not too many folks seem to either be interested or responding, and since I can't find anything from the forum already on this, I'll ask again. What dye works best for reticulated foam? Can anyone help me out? I tried dying reticulated foam before, but all of the dye just squeezed out when I went to wring the water out. Can anyone help me out? Anyone out there with some good information?

Thanks,
Marc

I use Rit! I'm not an expert on the difference in dyes, but Rit has worked for me for polyfoam, reticulated foam, and antron fleece. I just vary the amount of dye for lighter and darker shades and the temperature of the water for vibrance. The hotter the water the more vibrant the color, usually.

I use Rit dye and very hot water. To get an intense color leave the foam in the dye bath for a long time. Good luck.
