Here's a few I can think of: Caroll Spinney, Jim Henson, Frank Oz, Jerry Nelson, Richard Hunt, and Jane Henson.

When the show first started in 1969 there was only 3 puppeteers Jim Henson, Frank Oz, and Carroll Spinney. Back then Carroll Spinney sometimes helped out with the Anything Muppets.
