Well, considering the Ditzies can just poof tunnels up if they want, there are probably infinite tunnels theoretically.
My theory is that the tunnels run under our whole world:coy:

I always kinda wondered about where all those caves could be. No way a huge hill next to Doc's little shed could be it XD

The idea I use for my version of FR is that there are small pockets of fraggles and their other family members all around the world in underground caves, with many of them living in water :smile:.

That makes logical sense. And perhaps not all sections of the Rock touch the surface, so it could extend for miles underground where no human trace of it could be found even with advanced technology. Or perhaps parts of it sprawl into alternate dimensions, which would really ratchet up the infinity theory.

I think the magic of the rock keeps it from being seen by anyone it does not want to be seen by, in the same way there are not fraggle holes everywhere :smile:.

I never really thought about how many Fraggles there were. I just knew Fraggle Rock was called boundless and the center of the universe. I knew there were charctares that crossed paths with the main characters, but I never thought to keep track.

*Hangs head in shame*

I'm only doing research, there, there :smile:. You see, what I am planning has to do with all of the group of every day fraggles that live around the main characters...

I wonder how they handle baby fraggles. Are only a few born a year, or a decade (due to the fact that they obviously live longer than humans, so are a lot slower to mature and such)? Where are they kept (since we never see any outside the opening credits)? Do they limit how many can be born, due to the sheer number of the population, but despite the "endless" tunnels and caves?

I think they do live longer than humans but I don't think maturing is really an issue, since they seem very playful and silly their whole lifes :smile:...My theory on their population is :
1)Not all female fraggles can have babies by nature.
2) And the ones that do often have big families, but fraggles are prey animals, so often they don't make it pass being hatched ;.;

Well, I meant mature as in aging (like kid to teen, adult to elder), puberty, that sort of thing :smile:
