Well, the name of the series came from the 1998 book "Sesame Street Unpaved" about the history of the series. Most of the episodes chosen were either cast favorites and/or had a major significance to the series (like Mr. Hooper's death, the discovery of Snuffy, etc). But basically it was just a name for the rerun series.
