How does your life revolve around Muppet Central?

Some people I see here all the time, others seem to be on for a specific hour or two, others only get to visit maybe once a week or month, and others (like myself) are on spuratically, so I was wondering...
How does your day/month/year/life revolve around Muppet Central? Do you have an MC routine? Or do you visit when it's convenient? How much do you feel you need to check to see if someone responded to your posts? What posts/forums/members get you excited? Is there anything you ever desperately wish MC had that it already doesn't? How important is a visit to MC to you?

I have an MC routine. I'm up at quarter to six every morning during the week, but I've got a long commute to work, but the first thing I do after I get there and check my e-mails is come here. I'm the first one in the office every morning so I get to enjoy the quietness of the place and spend about 20 minutes to an hour right off the bat at Muppet Central.
After that, I'll check back two or three or more times during the afternoon to see what's going on, and then after I get home, I spend about an hour back again, but don't necessarily post that much. On the weekends, I don't really get a chance to visit at all.

Depending on the thread (especially if I started it!) I check back a lot with anticipation, I love when people respond to my posts, even if it's negative; or when I log on and see I've gotten a PM (most of the time at least, until my PM mailbox starts overflowing). All in all, I think MC is perfect, I just wish we had a bigger server to have bigger file sized avatars, or post pics in our posts and sigs, but I guess that's because I love MC so much that I'd still be a member if was a pay site. Checking up on MC is really part of my day. It's a s natural as waking up, brushing my teeth, eating and the like!

Ok. My day with Muppet Central.

I get up, turn on the computer in my room as I go out the door, shower, and check MC while getting dressed.

Breakfast.

Back to my room for schol (having been home-school all my life), check MC and then hurriedly sit down at desk as I hear someone coming. Finish two subjects. Check MC. etc...

Lunch.

Check MC. Do some writing. Chat to a friend. Do some work. Check MC.

Do some more writing, check MC. Do some more chatting, check MC. Do some extra school work, check MC.

Tea.

Check MC.

Spend the evening lolling around teh net, while checking into MC from time to time.

I have such an exciting life.

Well there are about 3 different forums which I post at - MC being the second I joined but the one where I post most and where things are busiest.

Having just left school I've been able to get on a lot recently - every morning, after lunch, early evening then I usuallly spend my nights on here too. Although I'm now having to juggle this all between work - the nights whewn I work til 10.00 (present UK time) I usually come on when I get home.

I like to drop in as often as I can before things can move really quickly in fun hreads like the Moppet Family and the Roleplay and I don't like to miss too much. Also I'm usually setting or guessing at most of the games.

Oh and I don't get all that many PMs so feel free to talk to me - one of those really does make my day.

But I could give it up whenever I want, OK, no really...

My daily schedule looks an awful lot like yours, Gardy...

Wake up at 7:30, get out of bed, check MC, get dressed.

Leave for school.

Finish four subjects in school, eat lunch, and then check MC.

Back to classes, finish another three subjects, go home at 3pm.

Change, turn on computer, check MC, eat dinner.

Spend about two hours on MC.

Do homework whilst on MC (this is seperate from the last event.)

Spend another hour on MC.

Go to bed.

I must say I have a bit of a routine similar to yours Vic. I get to work around 8:30 or 9:00 in the morning and after checking e-mails I spend a good amount of time on MC. Then I go about my day. I usually check back around lunchtime either before or after I leave for lunch (sometimes both!) Depending on how busy my afternoon gets I check back every now and then. I usually try to pop back in at home around 9 or 10:00 at night before I go to bed, but it depends on what I had going on that evening. I try to pop in a couple of times on the weekends. As to what gets me excited it's usually RPG's and posts that I have posted in. I am also enjoying this recent round of Fan Fics from everyone so I'm always anxious to check on those. So I must say MC is very much a part of my daily life even if I don't post alot somedays!

well considering that it is now summer and I have nothing to do with my life...

I wake up (eventually) shower and such, and get on MC. I see what's new, tell myself I'm not going to post yet and then post anyway (like I'm doing now) and then I eventually... you know... get dressed, go eat breakfast... and come back on MC....

Um, at some point I try to go outside. Lately that's when I've been writing my fanfic- when I'm sitting out in my backyard. And then um.... I come back on MC.... until I eat lunch (around 2:00- 2:30 ish, don'tcha love summer?) and then of course I come back on.... and at some point my family finds some sort of excuse to drag me away, yell at me for not cleaning my room, the bathroom, the kitchen, threaten to take away my keyboard... you know, stuff like that...

and then of course I come back on MC and stay until I go to bed.

But during the school year it's different. I wake up early, run around the house for an hour, then run out to catch the bus. Then I'm stuck at school until... well it's been 3:10 but next year I guess it'll be 2 ish... and then I'm stuck on the bus for a while... and then I come home, have a snack, hang out on MC for a while, then pretend to do my homework while still hanging out on MC. And I stay until dinner, and then I come back and stay until bed.

So basically I'm almost always here.

Um, but yeah. And I'm constantly checking threads to see what's new,notably the fanfic section (where I love nagging certain people to continue their stories... I mean... where I love READING stories!) SWAEHB, any birthday threads, RPGs, and the dorms. Oh, and any threads that get taken over so that they're about some crazy adventure that usually has to do with the EM bus...

My routine:

Since it's summer, I get on MC whenever I can, and Palisades Toys, I check it whenever I want, since I have my own computer in my room, no one bothers me! I enjoy checking the fan-fics, the games, the Family and Friends, and Classic Muppets threads. That's my MC routine.

Oh, I'm supposed to put what I like? Well, I'm on the games forum a lot, as well as Friends and Family. I'm a regular at Classic Muppets too.

MC is usually the 3rd site I go into,whilst online;the first is CNN(my homepage),and then IMDB.I can usually get laundry and other household chores done,while chatting online.My other MC epiphanies,I've posted several times in other threads,lol.No general routine for me here at MC,I mainly go into Games,General Discussion,Friends and Family & whatever New Post that catches my attention. Like I've said before,MC is like a second home to me.I've made lots of new buddies here. I wish there wasn't a post count(or just one that we ourselves could look at,and not have the rest of the forum making posting a race or competion);post counts to me are a bonus.*exiting post backstage of the Muppet Theater*

I'm starting actually to drift away from MC. Usually, I go online at 5.30pm and log into MC. Check the Games Section, check Friends and Family and then General Discussion [oh, and Moppit Family. Which is now my fave thread ever!]
But anyway, then I'll update my journal, check my friend's journals and then head back to MC. Rummage around Muppet Headlines and Classic Muppets. Then have a break, chat to people on MSN. Come back to MSN. Check original 3 forums I post in to see new replies, post again....rinse and repeat. But I defo dont post as much as I used to when I first joined.
