How do you keep your figures as clean as possible?

Because some parts of the Muppet Labs and the Electric Mayhem Band are very thin, I am afraid that I will break them off. Any suggestions about how to clean the collection as safely as possible?

With playsets I use those air cans that are you to clean computer keyboards.
