How do the post meters work with numbers?

I've been here for a while and I have yet to figure out how the post meter things work with the post numbers that I have. How many do I need to do before I get to get a higher rank in the forum? What are the numbers for the other ones that are in the forums? I'm just wondering. :halo:

Um, well I think when you reach 100 posts you get upgraded to a member. Then when you reach 1,000 posts you are a senior member.

I think that's right.

Um, not quite. The way it works is like this.
0 Posts = Junior Member.
30 Posts = Member.
1000 Posts = Senior Member.
These are the only three titled ranks that currently exist within the posting scheme at Muppet Central. If you have thoughts, comments, or suggestions on expanding the post scheme and what titles if any should be attached to specific post totals, then I encourage you posting in this thread.

I don't believe Muppet Central (or ANY vBulletin) message boards use post meters... they just simply set the posting ranks to however many posts you need to achieve that rank.

I'm pretty sure if we did have post meters that MC wouldn't use them due to bandwidth.

Member Rankings?

What do you have to do to become a senior member? Or just a member?

...

At joining the forums with 0-29 posts, you are listed as a Junior Member.
From 30-999 posts, you are then ranked as a Member.
Finally, from 1000 posts onward you are labelled a Senior Member.
