Yeah i agree, it's confusing as heck when someone who's been here a while changes their username and then you have no idea who they are anymore - i have a hard time when people just change their avatars to something completely different to what they last had. The only enforcing you could do would be to say one user per email address and i think thats already how it is now. It'd be a good guideline though as you say.

While we're at it i'd also support a guideline where people couldn't offer for sale or promote the sale of ripped off Henson DVDR's, VHS's and VCD's containing stuff that is commercially available to buy in the stores. Maybe even for stuff that isn't available to buy but that might be going a bit far. The auctions get ended on Ebay anyway so they just end up dead links here.
