I was sitting here sewing up a puppets tongue because of damage and my sewing machine made a loud buzzing sound and turned OFF. I had it and my high-temp glue gun plugged in at the same outlet. Oh and btw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYGCT4AQIR0 Does the guy walking and keeps appearing in the vid looks like Jarrod?

Well, most pros (including Rick Lyon) usually recommend hand sewing, as opposed to sewing machines for more precision, accuracy, and overall seam construction.

Must be a really old outlet from the sounds of things...

I did hand sewing with gerbert and the sewing needle left a deep cut in my finger. sorry if you did'int want to know that. anyway afterthat i made the rest of my puppets with a sewing machine.

Ouchies... sorry to hear that; unless you were short of one, try using a thimble to protect your finger(s).
