His name is not Bunson

Hello All

There seems to be a missunderstanding about the muppets lab scientist name at least in the season 2 guides and specifically the Peter Sellers episode.

Throughout the web page Dr Bunsen is refered to as Dr Bunson.

It is actually Dr Bunsen Honeydew. Named after Robert Bunsen a german chemist who amongst other things has invented the Bunsen Gas Burner, available in every respectable chemical lab

Thanks for the fun information and welcome to MC, but the best place for this thread would probably be the Classic Muppets section.

Hello BEAR, thanks for your reply. I think that this is general feedback for the website and not something about the muppet show, so it's probably in the correct thread.

Anyway, even if it is not, it takes a forum admin to make the switch

Well, no...it is information relating to a character on the Muppet Show and has absolutely nothing to do with the Muppet Central website. However, you are right. I am sure Kevin or Phillip will find this thread and put it where it belongs.

Hello BEAR

Thanks for the rapid response...

I think it's two sides of the same coin. There is a mistake in the spelling of Dr Bunsen Honeydew (a muppet character), on the season 2 guide:: Peter sellers episode (on the muppet central website).

The characters name is not bunson as it is reported in a webpage that belongs to the muppet central website and therefore someone has made a typographic mistake when writting or transcribing this page.

If i was to supply some kind of behind-the-scenes info about Dr Bunsen i would post it to the Classic Muppets section...

Anyway, i think that we are missing the point here which is...Dr Bunsen's name is mispelled as Dr Bunson in at least one page. My intention was just to point this out.

This should be corrected now throughout TMS guides.
