Okay. I'm trying to get the connection here. I'd say they're all 'b' words, but how would that 'splain the necktie and the flowerpot? I'm guessing everything the kid had in his shirt had something in common. I'm just not quite sure what.

They all rhyme. Bert-Shirt, Tie-Eye, Plants-Pants, Bands-Hands, Bread-Head, etc.
