everyone in hollywood is probably uptight because one wrong move can ruin your job. one minute you can be hot and the next minute you could be out of a job. that could be one reason people over in the l.a. area act rude.

Heh..I live in Northern California...and that could well be a reason for the attitude down in LA-but LA itself just has this odd vibe, like something naturally artificial. (no offense to anyone in LA!)

I've been hearing really bad things about communication about all the USA admin type people over about the last year. I would probably take it higher and complain, asking for your original stuff back and if they can't do that then they should apologise. They're a professional company and shouldn't be sending anybodys personal data to the wrong people regardless. It's shame because it reflects badly on a lot of the puppeteers and creative people who have been with the company for a long time. As for puppetry auditions, Kevin Clash is in charge of finding new talent though maybe they only do this when they actually have projects to recruit for.
