Here's an OLD interview with June Foray (voice of Rocky the Flying Squirrel, Natasha Fatale, Nell Fenwick, etc), and the late Bill Scott (voice of Bullwinkle, Dudley Do-Right, and Super Chicken). Even a little tidbit of Bill Conrad (the wordy narrator) at the end.

They could use something like this for a special feature on the season four DVD if Classic Media ever decides to no longer keep us hangin'.

Here's another good one...

Bullwinkle, while poorly animated was one of the greats, right up their with Bugs and Donald. Jay Ward's cartoons and commercials for Cap'n Crunch were the finest things ever to grace TV, aside from the Muppets. I always wondered if Jay and Bill would have been muppet fans.

Well, there's some good news and some bad news...

The good news there's FINALLY going to be another new Rocky and Bullwinkle DVD next month.

The bad news is it's NOT the long-awaiting Season Four DVD we've been waiting, but rather another "Best of" set.

The best ofs no one buys?

Well, they had the chance to release the complete Underdog show and blew it, so why should I be surprised? What is it now? Best of Aesop and Son? Best of Captain Peachfuzz?

No, apparently, it's "The Best of Rocky and Bullwinkle: Volume 2", and it's going to include "Goof Gas Attack", "Wossamotta U.", and another short adventure I forget at the moment.

You can read about it at www.tvshowsondvd.com

I'm one of the few people who sometimes (sometimes) prefers "Best of" sets. Obviously the full season sets include all episodes of a series and you're stuck with the medicore ones as well as the greats (and even wonderful shows have those!). The only problem with the "Best of's" is how do you decide which episodes are "the best?"

The only "Best Of" set I'd buy is if Whose Line Is It Anyway? decided to release "Best Of" sets, and they included one that's "The Best of Kathy Greenwood"... obviously...
