Btw Pashmonster yeah its a right bugger to find stuff in the UK ... Im planning to make it from some Form with a layer of leather and sandwiched in with some felt..


Im planing to make the Body and hands this week!

My Kermit was made using the photopuppet pic that has been taken appart then photographed. its on google under kermit pattern. I used a ping pong ball and cut it in half and used that to scale up, the ping pong ball is approx 40mm across so just scale the pic up until the eye is same size as that.

I used about a 3 foot by 2.5 foot peice of antron and made almost the whole puppet, my dying wasnt great so had to work around the rubbish bits.

Also use liquid rit dye i found it easier to use than the powder.

Yeah ive got that photo too! Thats what im currently working off!
I think the Hardest bit im going to find is to make the foam tummy... How wide / big is it? Is he a pear shape !

i made 3 or 4 foam bodys before i got my kermit shape It takes time getting it just right as i wanted as few seams as possible. It is almost like an egg with the top and bottom cut off, if you get a large enough peice of antron you can get the body done in 2 peices, you just have to pull it very tight, i ended up with 3 peices because my dying was bad and had to cut out the spotty bits.
