Help Spyware infestation

I seem to have been infested by spyware. It has screwed up my settings, including here at MC. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of it?

Muppet related license plate frames

I'm thinking of getting a license plate holder that says "Life's like a movie, write your own ending."

Does anyone else have a muppet related license plate frame?

Spyware is not cool...I can sympathize. I had a similar problem, and this site helped me get rid of it completely:

You have to download a program called HiJack This, and post its log on their forum. Someone will answer and tell you in detail what you should do.

The spyware expert is here! (well not exactly but I know how to get rid of it)

very internet user should have these 2 spyware programs installed, they are the best programs and they are completely free.

Adaware - http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ make sure you download the free version. then do a scan of your computer and it gets rid of everything!

Spybot Search & Destroy - http://www.safer-networking.org/ This is another excellent free program that works well with adaware if adaware doesnt pick something up this usually will. It picks up problems with the computer too, its just an all round excellent tool that should be on all computers!

To actually prevent spyware there is another free program
Spyware Blaster - http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html and it stops most spyware from installing or getting on the computer in the first place. this program is excellent as it works when its not even running, its a small download and like all these programs should be on every computer.

I have all of these programs on my computer and use them all the time. If you use them you will find your computer won't be getting as many spyware attacks and will work much faster.

That took me ages to type but if everyone took notice of it in the world it would put an end to spyware!
