Is here any computer-wiz onboard this forum? My pc is misbehaving. Every now and then my mousepointer freezes. It sticks for a few seconds. If i nudge it quickly during the freeze it jumps right across the screen when it releases. It's a ps2 optical mouse of the brand Labtec.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Please help me.

What programs do you have running? I assume you're on a Windows system?

Sorry but I'm afraid I can't help. My computer freezes up sometimes entirely sometimes. Especially if I have myspace running. I don't know what causes that.

I'm running windows xp, 512MB Ram, 4 hard drives, of wich one is a USB2 drive, so i don't think it's because of lack of space. I'm also running ftp-server, apache webserver, and mysql database.
The thing is that my pc has never done this before. It's a recent problem.
