I hope this is the right place to post this!

Anyway, today I got a cat, and I'm having a little trouble coming up with a name. What I want is something quirky or unusual. Nothing lazy and uncreative like "Fluffy" or "Blackie."

The cat is a male, 10 months old, with black fur.

I don't mind if you throw out some Muppet names if you think they apply XD My brother-in-law is already pulling for Rizzo, Gonzo or Bunsen (my sister and him have a cat named Beaker ). So far on the idea plate I have:

Augustus
Webster
Waldon
Beauregard (not sure if I spelled that right!)
Weegee (as in the cat from Jim Henson's A Christmas Toy)
November

Hi bazooka! >^..^<
OK let's see...naming the kitten Kermit is out because he (the kitten) isn't green (obvious). I've never seen "A Christmas Toy".Is Weegee black? (and yes...you spelled Beauregard right.)
To me,Webster sounds like a cute name!
Good luck with your new feline addition to your family!

Katzi - No, I don't think he's black, but I haven't watched the special in awhile. So I'm not sure! Thanks for the suggestions!

Winslow: Lucas sounds cute, I'll keep it in mind

You could name him Zany, after the penguin here on the forums. :zany:

Or, if not, how about Tux?

I like the name Waldon pretty well. Do you have pictures of him that you would like to share? Is there a way to take a pool on this?
