Help in making a chicken

Hey this is my kind of thread! HAHA

I'm making chickens as well and busy sourcing some long white fur to use for fabricating the body. I've managed to buy a reel of white feathers that'll work perfect for the feathers! Anyhoo,

I love the videos ravagefrackle, think I remember you posting them before and they still make me laugh. Was the cannon chicken shot a special effect? Or did you REALLY squeeze into that cannon?

And wes I love your chicken. How do you guys go about making the comb and wattle? What materials do you use? Do you use any significant weight in the ends of the wattle to help it flap about? Who are brave enough to make them out of latex or similar material?
