*Cookie Monster smashing a plastic lid that has a plate of cookies under it(lid being held by some sort of rope?)

*Cookie and Ernie skit from 1969(they were behind a green counter...and there was some smoke behind)

*Skit that took place on the street: Under Oscar's trashcan was the word "can" written in small white letters(saw part of this on "I Love the 70s")

*The Count at a bank and he's throwing dollar bills around(70s maybe)

*Ernie, Bert and a big mess in the apartment(and Ernie finds a banana peel)

Two of the clips you're talking about- (Cookie Monster smashing a plastic lid covering cookies and The Count tossing bills everywhere at a bank) are included in this Sesame Street music video!
http://youtube.com/watch?v=U5wXRmfNGR8&search=Sesame Street

(It's a European pop song and in some language other than English- but even so, it's really cool because there's quite a few fairly rare clips)

Cookie Monster's sketch with the lid/string protecting the cookies was meant to teach "before" and "after"; he tricked Kermit into lifting the lid by asking him to demonstrate the two words. Of course, "after" Kermit repeats this demonstration once too many, Cookie has eaten too many cookies "before" dinner... *giggles*

The "Count at a bank" sketch appears in one of the early seasons, though I'm not sure which. The teller had agreed to let the Count check his own account balance personally; he piled literally millions of $1 bills on the floor, which the Count went through one at a time. (The sketch aired in parts throughout the episode, probably to dramatize the Count's taking f-o-r-e-v-e-r with that money... )

Cookie's skit

I remember the skit with Cookie a little differently (unless it's a different clip altogether).

Herbert Birdsfoot had a plate of cookies under the plastic lid, which was attached to a pulley. While Herb watched, Cookie came along and discovered all on his own, if he pulled the rope, the pulley could lift the cover, and he can get the cookies. But our blue friend got a better idea.
"Me know better way to get cookies. HIYAA!!! Then Cookie smashes the lid to reach the cookies. Next shot is a close up of Herb, looking more than a bit peeved that his demonstration didn't quite work.

The only 1969 skit with Ernie and Cookie featuring smoke and them standing behind a counter goes something like this:

Ernie actually sings a song called "If I Knew You Were Coming I'd Have Baked A Cake". (I believe a hit for Lee Dorsey back in the 40's) He mixes batter together and throws it in the oven. Out comes a cake with white icing (and candles already lit), and Cookie shoves the whole cake in his mouth.

Hope this helps

Here's one. What's that Ernie and Bert Skit called that feature The Blue Anything Muppet that's laughing?

And here's the other skit that muppet maniac asked about the skit:Ernie, Bert and a big mess in the apartment(and Ernie finds a banana peel):The Ernie and Bert skit is called:Life Without Bert. And What happens is that Ernie is at home with the messy apartment sitting down at Bert's Chair watching his favorite show and says that he's happy that Bert's not home etc..When Bert comes home,He tells Ernie that the place is a mess then he asks him is that the last banana and Ernie says sort of.Then he tells him to get out of his favorite chair because Bert said that they agreed to take turns on it to sit down so Bert can watch his favorite show and he told Ernie that he'll be right back so he can sit on the chair. While Bert's out,Ernie imagines that what it would be like when Bert's not home and he says it would be wonderful of the things he can do for himself and than he imagines bad things that might happen to him sometime and says it would be terrible. When Bert come back,Ernie says Bert,You're back!Sit down on your favorite chair,Turn on your favorite television show,I'll pick up the toys, feed the pigeons, arrange your bootle cap collection, and he goes in the other room and abange his cobbies. And than Bert feels surprisingly happy.(That's about as much I can tell.):stick_out_tongue: :frown:

I found the answer on Muppet Wiki; in the sketch Ernie is trying to teach CM table manners, but as usual CM doesn't learn.
