Help Building Eyebrow/Lid Mechanisms

I hope to frog I spelt that right... Anyways, I was wondering how you do these. I've never seen a video on how to do them on youtube. Not even for simple ones like eyebrows that simply raise and lower. Also, for lack of better example, an eye lid mechanisim sort of like Goriddle Gorilla's or Oscars, where the eyelids can move seperately. Any idea on how to do these?
