Helen Reddy on Sesame Street

Hey Guys,
Helen Reddy appeared on Sesame Street twice, Once singing "Wonder Child" and once singing "I Make Up Songs".

I believe these were in the 70's, And were sung live on the show. They later were released on ' The Stars Come Out On Sesame Street' LP.

Does anyone know if Helen did anything else on the show ?

Also, What was it like when she sung those songs ?
Scenery, Muppets etc ?

I know that on "Wonder Child," she was just solo in an empty room, with a microphone in her hand.

There was a real song of hers that was parodied. It was a song called "I Am Chicken," I believe it went to the tune of "I Am Woman."

Yeah i believe that was released on one of the CD's... I have it around here somewhere.

But im more interested in her Appearances on the show. I think that she sung 'I Make Up Songs' on the show too.

Someone told me that they also remember her talking or singing with Kermit on Sesame Street.

there was another song she sang about growing where she was with a bunch of kids. think the song was called everybody's got some growing to do.

I would've loved to see Helen singing on Sesame Street.

But I remember the Muppet chicken singing that song. It was a cool song and I had no idea it was a Helen Reddy song also.
