Well, now I do...

Yesterday, whilst practicing to play basketball with some friends, I was dribbling the ball around in the driveway, went over to the barn, jumped up... and fell. Hard.

I must have screamed louder than Beaker during a particularly harsh experiment. Well, to make a long story short, I broke my ankle.

Now, I'm cooped up in the house for 6-8 weeks. I may not be able to make it to the computer everyday like I used to, but, I'll be on here a couple of times a week...

Anyway, yesterday when it happened, I went down to the ER. Unfortunately, the orthopedist wasn't there, so, I had to go back in today (and, I most deffenitely do not like crutches). They put a regular cast on it, and, I should be able to walk around in 6 weeks. In 4 weeks she said they'd put some sort of boot on it, similar to a cast, but will let me walk around without the crutches.

Oh, and, Sarah...

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Heehee, anyway, hope your ankle feels better soon. You should make yourself a little recouperation spot by the computer.

I've never broken anything, only sprained my wrist once falling out of a hammock...heh.

Anyway, thank you all for your concern. I tell you, this is the first time in my entire life where I'd rather be walking than laying around all day watching tv.
