Chapter 8

They looked at the ghost. Link gave acloser glance at the ghost, and then said, "You know, you look like my Uncle Austin!"

"That's because I AM your Uncle Austin", said the ghost, "I am the ghost of Uncle Austin."

"Uh... uh... you're not gonna killus, are you?", asked Link.

"Of course not", said Austin, "I just came by to check on you."

The elevador door then opened.

"Well, we can talk on the elevador", said Kermit, and they all got into the elevador, and Miss Piggy pused the button for the top floor.

"So, Uncle Austin, how did you die?", Link asked.

"I got killed by a bunny with a duck beak and spikey hands", said Austin.

"How is the afterlife?", asked Link.

"Oh, it's great", said Austin, "I've met a lot of new friends, such as Jim, Jerry, Jeff, Joe, Jon, Don, Richard, Eren, Will, Northern..."

The elevador stopped and the doors opened.

"Vell, we sould get out here", said Dr. Strangepork. The doors lead to a dark room, and they found another door. They opened it, and it turned out that they were in the closet to Dr. Strangepork's room.

"There was an elevador in a closet?", asked Kermit, who scrunched his face.

"By the way, I accidently took your inheritence with me", said Austin, "Here it is, 50,000 dollars".

"Oh, wow!", said Link, who gave Dr. Strangepork the half that he had promised to give him.

"Wait a minute", said Austin, "Why are you giving him some of your money?"

"Well, I promised to give him money for staying with me", said Link.

Dr. Strangepork then examined his money, and made a discovery: "This is really old money... in fact, looking at the date, this money is confederate!"

"Huh?", said a stumped Link Hogthrob.

"That's right", said Austin, "Many years ago, I had a great-great-great uncle whose money became confederate, and he died, and he gave it all to his least favorite nephew, and it's been a tradition in the family to give this money to our least favorite nephews, and tell them to stay one night inside a haunted house to get it. If you ever die, you should give this money to your least favorite nephew."

"But what if I never have a nephew?", asked Link, "In fact, if this is just confederate then I don't want to stay in this haunted house any more. I still haven't stayed the full night. Let's all go!"

They went to the door.

"But...but Link, wait", said Austin, "We need you to continue the family tradition..."

"Then you shouldn't have specified that I spend the night in this haunted house", said Link, who then opened the door. A pizza delivery man was outside.

"Did somebody order a pizza?", said the pizza man.

"No", said Link.

"No", said Dr. Strangepork.

"No", said Kermit.

"No", said Miss Piggy.

"Oh, I did", said Austin.

The pizza man looked at the ghost of Austin and screamed, "Aaahh!! A ghost!", and ran, leaving the pizza behind.

"That's the good thing about being a ghost", said Austin, "Pizza men and women are so scarred of us, we can get free pizza."

"Oh, then I can't wait untill I'm a ghost!", said Link.

"Now, Link", said Austin, "Will you please take the money?"

"No, I won't!", said a stern Link.

"I'll let you have some of this pizza if you accept the money", said Austin.

"Okay, then, you have yourself a deal!", said Link.
