Many Muppets, many voices, many personas...and one excellent Muppeteer to play them all.

Happy birthday, Richard, and God bless and keep you.

I've got a big box of orange poppyseed muffins here; do ya want me to bring them in here, or take them to the RHLC?

Oh well I think we can share today...if we must (hehe jk)

Happy Birthday, Richard! This year I really drew a blank as to what I would say. But then I found something I thought might be appropriate. This song seems to be forever playing on MC radio and it eventually grew on me, I listen to it all the time now. On The Muppet Show, it's sung by Rowlf and a few other dogs (and one cat, which seems to have a very familiar voice, hehe). I always thought it was the perfect song for a special occasion, and some of the lyrics definitely remind me of Richard (such as the laughter and the singing birds ). So here it goes:

"May You Always"

"This special time, this special place
is brightened by your special face.
I wish I may, I wish I might
have the wish I wish for you tonight.

May you always walk in sunshine.
Slumber warm when night winds blow.
May you always live with laughter
for a smile becomes you so.

May good fortune find your doorway.
May the blue birds sings your song.
May no trouble travel your way.
May no worries stay too long.

May all heartaches be forgotten.
May no tears be spilled.
May old acquaintance be remembered
and you cup of kindness filled.

May you always be a dreamer.
May your wildest dreams come true.
May you find someone to love
As much as I love you." :flirt:

Here are a few clips people posted I thought were appropriate. You've probably seen some of them already:

Sesame Street Episode 2313: Fitting since it's an episode about memories, and features Forgetful Jones as a baby, hehe

http://youtube.com/watch?v=cLvH7ZqZk18&mode=related&search=

We Got a Brand New Baby: If only to show how amazing Richard was at doing baby talk Lol

http://youtube.com/watch?v=8f1hLc98aIM

The Two Headed Monster Sings Itself a Lullabye: And finally, what I agree is the cutest Sesame Street clip of all time (And amazingly, it does not feature Elmo, hehe). Though I would recommend watching this at nighttime, hehe.

Happy birthday, Richard. Y'know, I've always thought it interesting that, if Richard were still with us, he and my dad would be the same age.

In honor of Richard's birthday, I've put together a fanmix. I don't know how many of you remember the fanmix I did for last year; well, this is version 2.0. Different songs, but all embody Richard's spirit.

Indefatigable 2.0 - A Richard Hunt fanmix

And for those of you who are interested in the first fanmix I did: Indefatigable - A Richard Hunt FST
