Yes, and that fact alone is what brings so much life into the Muppets, and the main cause of why we love them so much.

I believe Frank Oz said that at one time that you'll find a little piece of the performer in all their characters. And while I am not a big fan of Elmo *please don't flame me* I have a lot of respect for Kevin he has a big heart.
