Just wanted to wish one of the veteran Muppeteers a very happy birthday today!

Fran began working with the Muppets in 1970 on The Great Santa Claus Switch and has performed many favorite female Muppets over the years, especially on Sesame Street.

She also does voices on Sheep in the big city. She also voices Shirely the medium on courage the cowardly dog.

Wow, I had no idea she's been with the company that long!
As one of the top JHC performers for the past few decades, I sure hope she's at Muppetfest 2003 with the other Sesame performers and their characters!

Henson had a workshop the summer before "Switch" for new puppeteers. That is how Fran Brill and Richard Hunt began to get involved with Henson around that time.
