Thanks again, friends!!

Say, everybody needs to sit down for this 'un!

I got a 1979 Muppet Show lunchbox, it's in darn near mint condition to be as old as it is with some edge wear on the paint. The background of it is black, with a red and gold trim around the corners. The front (the side where the latch is) is the poster of the Muppets (the one the 'floating-piggy-head' appeared on) is on one side and shows Robin, Fozzie, Piggy, Camilly, Rowlf, Gonzo, Kermit, and Scooter; Lew, Animal, and Floyd are all cut off the top of the picture. the logo reads "Jim Henson's Muppets" The other side is a BIG picture of Fozzie Bear holding the banana in his ear. The top, under the handle (with the latch side facing away from you) has the top part of the poster aforementioned, showing Bunsen, Uncle Deadly, Waldorf, Statler, Link, Dr. Teeth, and yet Lew, Animal, and Floyd are cut off, but you can see their eyes now. Going around the side is Scooter, Sweetums, Sam, a group shot including Scooter, Boppity, Floyd, Animal, Piggy; then, Link as a Canadian Mountie, then a Piggy Glamour pose, and finally Dr. Teeth. It also INCLUDES THE THERMOS!! Which has art on it of Kermit eathing a sandwich with a full lunchbox open in front of him and the thermos to the side. It's really cool!! Do I plan on using it? I dunno--I'm scared to look in that thermos. may have been some undrinked milk in there or something nasty like that.

I also got a spring loaded metal mule toy that kicks, and a cutout of Popeye that's about 2 feet tall that is hand painted wood, and a photo album of me through the ages. I used to be a handsome lad--dunno where I went wrong! HA!

I emailed you back at the beginning of August that we have the same Birthday.

I forgot this morning it was my birthday, and a friend called up still sleepy from last night's sleeping pill and he sang, or said, as best he could, "Hap'burday t'you, hap'burday t'you, hap'burday t'kev'n, ha'pburday t'you. nite." and hung up! HA!!

Glad to hear you had a great birthday! you sure got some great presents. Did you open the thermos yet? I'm wondering what might be in there, could be anything, it could be full of gun powder or some illegal substance!?

...or some very old, very stinky milk...

Still scared to open it, though I doubt really it would be nasty inside. The place my mom got it--a mom-n-pop junk store--never sells just junk or anything dirty.

Well it could be something exciting! it could explode in your face or make some weird screaching noise or it could even be some strange creature from another planet. you really should open it just to make sure! the possibilities are endless.
