Thanks everyone. More often than not birthdays have a tendancy to depress me so today i'm actually celebrating the 25th anniversary of Eurythmics' Savage album - which was released (in the US) on my 16th birthday, was the first ever cd i owned (got my first cd player as a birthday gift that year) and remains my favorite album of all time. Plus the "Savage era" was my favorite also producing other classic tracks like their recording of Winter Wonderland (which for the last several years ASCAP has named it the top played Christmas song), "Revenge Part 2" for the Rooftops soundtrack, their "Brand New Day" film, and all the great experimental cover versions they recorded for a soundtrack to an abondoned film project (they later were released as bonus tracks for remaster rereleases of their albums) So i've been immersing myself in music today!
