We're protesting YouTube censoring the community's feedback...
YouTube claims they listen to us, but they obviously don't, because they're forcing all users to switch to a new channel (profile) redesign on the 15th; unlike our current channels, which we can easily customize and personalize, the new designs are very cookie-cutter, simplistic, slow (even on high speed connections), unorganized, cluttered, and you can't completely customize them. We've been asking YouTube for weeks now (it was weeks ago when they announced it) to either get rid of the new channel designs altogether, or at least give us an OPTION to switch or keep our old designs on "D-Day", but YouTube is obviously not listening to us; according to them "hundred and thousands" of users love the designs, but if you've read the comments on their update blog, 98% of the community DOES NOT LIKE THEM!
We're sick and tired of YouTube fixing things that aren't broken, and even more sick and tired of them not paying attention to user feedback (which includes blog comments, phone calls, protest videos, protest groups, etc), and as such, from July 10 to 15, those who oppose the new channels, and YouTube's lack of feedback response, will NOT log onto YouTube AT ALL, to show them that if they keep this up, they'll fall victim of countless members leaving them all together for other video sites.
