In honor of the day, Gonzo will set off a 25-cannon salute (firing himself out of each cannon, one at a time), to the accompaniment of a group of chickens clucking the "William Tell Overture."

Dave...Your characters have brought so many smiles to my face and the faces of those around me so often that I will hold you responsible for all my wrinkles in the future! Hehe. I've always loved Beauregard more than any Muppet and will always do everything I can to campain his return to front and centre.

So happy birthday Dave, and many happy returns Beauregard.
