Hand rod or live hand on Dinosaurs question

I know that Dinosaurs has tons of full bodied animatronic creature but does it occasionally have any hand rod or live hand puppets too because I don't know.

I don't know if they had any rod puppets but they definately had live hand.

The news reporter, Howard Handupme, was a hand puppet. I also remember the turtley "whatnot" dinosaur to be a hand puppet.

Oh yeah, Dinosaurs had tons of hand puppets for two reasons:

- because there were so many sizes of Dinosaurs, it made more sense to have smaller characters (not just Dinosaurs but also various other creatures, "food", "clothes", etc)

- the expense involved with building full bodied suits (hence the "Unisaurs" - the same full bodied supporting Dinosaurs constantly showing up as different characters)

- and hey we shan't forget Baby Sinclair who was a puppet himself - gotta love him!

(feeling fulfilled now that i was able to use the word "shan't" sometime this year!)
