I saw this Video over at the Wippets Blog By way of Bucks blog Whats the deal with Kids sticking their hands in puppets Mouths. We probably have had this disscsion before Here's the video: Seth reads Green Eggs & Ham to Barff.
That just Amazes me Every child who gets close to a puppet does that, it anoys me, But hey there children. I would like to see what the sycologoy on that is?

I have no idea why they do that. Maybe it's some sort of subconscious action determined by the child's ongoing confusion over whether the puppet is a living thing. Or maybe kids just like putting their hands in stuff that they're curious about. It's a great way to gain tactile sensory information.
