I always assumed A Charlie Brown Christmas had SOMETHING cut, because the jump from Linus telling Lucy to give him one good reason why he should memorize so many line to Lucy giving him five by making a fist in his face seemed... awkward... but then I got the DVD, and saw nothing was cut. *Shrug* Guess just another example of primitive, 60s animation.

I noticed a cut years ago off of a very very very very old tape, but I just can't remember it. I don't remember what it was exactly, but it was either a scene before Schroder plays Christmas music, or the scene with Charlie and Linus getting the tree was truncated....

Tree... Truncated... Tree Trunk! Hah! That, ah say, that's a joke son!

Lol, I know what you mean. You have to remember this was their first attempt at doing a full length animated holiday special. They weren't even sure how the characters were going to walk or point their arms, etc. You can even notice their heads sometimes turned all the way around to talk to someone.

Aww, I hated the ring. The only thing that scared me was the well, but thats because we have this old abandoned well in the middle of our woods that looks alot like the one in the movie only it doesnt stick out of the ground.

Tonight me and my friend might be going on a ahunted hayride at a nearby farm. We were supposed to go yesturday, but it was raining and they cancelled it. But today I'm not feeling great, so it really depends how I feel later (gah...I hate allegies combined with colds. Ugh. So much worse than either or :stick_out_tongue:)

I forgot the name of it, but I remember it well. Three CGI aliens, one was voiced by the late Don Messick (Scooby Doo/ Boo Boo Bear/Hampton Pig), and they needed Candy for their planet Mars (Mars, of course... because this was sponsored by M&M/Mars, and was actually based loosely off a commercial comic promotion). It was also produced by Hanna Barbera (there was a kid wearing a Fred Flintstone mask).

I have it on tape, but I haven't watched it in years, cuz I grew to dislike it.
That's the one. I didn't know it was created by Hanna Barbera? Whoa! Now i really do love it even more! Could you make me a copy or what? Do you have a DVD record or a VCR? What ever you have i'll send you a blank. Just let me know. Here's my email.

Are you talking about the commercial that went something like this...

KID #1: (Hiding in the bushes) Go ahead, ring the bell!
ALIEN #1: (Rings doorbell) Greetings, Earthling!
MOTHER: Well, aren't you guys cute!
ALIEN #1: We're with The Mission From Mars (says something about needing Mars brand candy)
ALIEN #2: We want the best candy you can give us.
ALIEN #3: Can you help us ma'am?
MOTHER: Well, you're a little early for Halloween, but... (Gives them M&Ms and Snickers) M&Ms, and Snickers...
ALIEN #1: Oh boy, our favorite!
MOTHER: By the way, I love your costumes!
(The aliens head off as the kids jump out from behind the bushes)
KID #2: Okay guys, thirty more houses to go!

Something like that...

Ah, I love Halloween! And this year is no different. For one thing, I've got a really awesome costume. I'm going as the Big Bad Wolf from Disney's "Three Little Pigs" cartoons!

This Friday evening, my college is having a pre-Halloween party. A few kids I know will be attending, and I thought maybe the wolf would like to attend it as well . It will be the first public glimpse of the Big Bad Wolf!

And then, on Halloween day, it is very fun at my college. You get to go to classes that day in costume, and in the middle of the day they have a party! I am going to attend that like I do every year. Better yet, quite a few of my friends from that school will be there too, and I've told some of them about my costume. They can't wait to see it! Two of my friends are going to go as the Joker and Harley Quinn. And another one of my friends will be Donald Duck! We have lots of food, music and dancing, a costume contest, and some card-reading this year too. After that, once we get home, I will give out the candy for Halloween night (as long as my mom buys good candy, and not the obscure nasty candies only she likes, such as this coconut and pistachio and tic-tac-like stuff), and I will be doing it wearing my costume as well. Our trick-or-treat hours are typically 6 to 8 PM (it used to be 5 to 7 PM until last year when Daylight Saving Time's schedule changed). I will also be watching many "Treehouse of Horror" specials and Scooby-Doo cartoons!

And the day after that, my brother and I are going to have a costume party with all our friends!
