The other driver was speeding according to *you*. I am certain that the people in the other car will not claim to have been driving too fast, and honestly, how do you know they were speeding anyway? Even a car going the speed limit would seem to be coming at you pretty fast if you were driving in their lane... which by your own admission, you were. Frankly, if you hadn't been in the other lane, speeding or not, there wouldn't have been a collision of any kind.
Yes they were speeding according to me, because I was going about the speed limit and they flew around much faster; and on a dangerous road like that with drop-offs, that is certainly not the thing to do.
And I never said "I was driving in their lane". When I saw I was over the line while trying to get better lighting, I got back over.
Like I told Nate, I guess I won't try to turn my fog lights on on a dark back road anymore...I know it wouldn't have happened if I had left 'em alone...and also, if they hadn't been speeding, this wouldn't have happened either, cause then there would have been no panic---which I did because both our vehicles were big, the road was very narrow, and it was hard to keep straight in the lane without going off the drop-off on my passenger side.
