I was lost in thought and was thinking about a (presumably non-existent) ad for TMS that would go something like "the stars are all talking about it" and then cut to a montage of clips with guest stars saying "The Muppet Show". I'm trying to log them all, just for fun. The ones I remember so far:

-Joel Grey
-Peter Ustinov
-Edgar Bergen
-Leo Sayer
-Roger Miller
-Beverly Sills
-Alan Arkin
-James Coburn
-Carol Burnett
-Melissa Manchester
-Gladys Knight
-Wally Boag

Who am I missing?

While not exactly the same thing, Brooke Shields referred to it as The Muffin Show (or was it Muffet?) at least twice in her episode. In Gilda Radner's episode, when she played Emily Letilla in the cold opening, he confused it with The Muffet Show, but again, she didn't actually say The Muppet Show.

I think those would add a spice though. "The Muppet Show, the Muppet Show, the Muppet Show" "The Muffin Show?" "The Muppet Show."

In the "Cabaret" Number, Joel Grey referred to The Muppet Show as The Muppet 'Cabaret'.
