Look at the last two posts. I was talking precisely about The Amazing Mumford skits. In the last paragraph I was emphasizing how funny I thought Cookie Monster's "Pistachio sandwiches" line was in that Amazing Mumford skit. And that led me to add a comment about how SS often used some interesting and peculiar food items. Then the next post I quoted myself from the last one just to say I had forgot to also mention the rather unusual soda flavors that Bert mentioned in the bottlecap skit.
I always try to post in the appropriate threads. I've seen you often tell people not to post about something in the classic Sesame Street thread if you think the subject is more relevant in another category. But now to say that talking about a different classic SS muppet in a thread than the main classic SS muppet of the thread, seems a bit much. Especially when it was only a side note. (Like when Sesame Mike and I were talking about the Cookie Monster and Ernie skit possibly having a gaffe, we also mentioned "The Brady Bunch" as a parallel example. That didn't mean we were turning the thread into a "Brady Bunch" discussion, though).
Also, wish you wouldn't start these comments with "uh". Makes it come across like a rude complaint rather than a friendly suggestion. And by the way, you do realize that your post itself had NOTHING to do with The Amazing Mumford right?
