Well, the concept of puppets as a special class of beings co-existing with us has already started to influence other media forms...

There's a new commercial for Lipton (or maybe Nestea? I get them confused) with Al Roker reporting on puppets on strike!

...course not to say i don't blame them...some of them probably shrank or shriveled after doing the Nestea Plunge (or was that the Lipton Plunge? SIgh...i miss those commercials! I remember being alternately fascinated at the spectacle of these clothed guys falling into the pools and the wonder of aren't they spilling their tea in the pool?)

...i also miss Quisp...the cereal and the commercials.

Actually, this is a shortened version of a commercial that premeired during the Super Bowl featuring Danny DeVito.

Yeah thats older than the superbowl I think. I'm not sure if anyone posted this yet but Drew Massey one of the puppetteers worked on Muppets From Space, Muppets Tonight!, and a few thers such as Doctor Dolittle.
