XERUS’S VOICE ARTIST FOCUS:

I just heard that Greg Burson had died this July 22, 2008. Greg Burson is not to be confused with voice artists Gregg Berger or Greg Berg. They’re three different people. When Mel Blanc and Daws Butler passed away, Greg Burson started to voice their characters for a while like Bugs Bunny and Yogi Bear. When I saw the new Yogi Bear show back in 1988, I had no idea that Yogi had a new voice artist. Greg did a good job with Yogi’s voice. Unfortunately, Greg got into lots of trouble in the later years because of alcohol. In 2004, he was arrested for kidnapping. And in 2008, he died because of diabetes, arteriosclerosis, and alcoholism at the age of 59. It was a shame to lose such a talented voice artist. R.I.P. Greg. -_-;;
