Chapter 1: Grease Is The Word, Man!
"We'll always be together. We'll always be together." The curtain then came down on the local high school production of "Grease." The audience cheered for the kids up on stage as they came back out for their curtain calls. Everyone....except the Muppets.

Usually, the Muppets supported pretty much everything, but this, they thought, was just plain awful. In fact 75% of the Muppets were "Grease" fans and even they admitted they hated the production they just saw. "Wow," Walter whispered to Kermit in amazement. "Now I know how Statler and Waldorf feel." "I know what you mean," Kermit whispered back in agreement. "I hate to say it, but this was the worst production of Grease I've ever seen."

The Muppets all stayed in the back row of the auditorium until almost every person in the audience with their children who was in the cast left. "We might as well not waste our time here any longer," Kermit said. "Yeah," Fozzie said. "I don't think I wanna smell anymore of the stink of this production." "You're right, Fozzie," Kermit agreed. "C'mon guys. Let's go home."

But just before all the Muppets exited the auditorium, a teenage girl accidentally tripped near them. The girl had long auburn hair, light skin and was short. On her was a black spaghetti strapped tank top under a black and white striped jacket, jean shorts over pantyhose, and black flats. She was carrying on her shoulder what looked like a bag full of "theater material" such as a script and her makeup kit. "Oh. Sorry," the girl apologized, but then realized something. She rubbed her eyes, thinking "This has to be dream," but realized this wasn't a dream. She just tripped right near The Muppets themselves. "Oh my gosh!" she said. "You guys are the Muppets!" "Yes," Kermit replied. "Yes we are, maam. I'm...." "I know," the girl interrupted. "You're Kermit the Frog. And you're Walter, and Fozzie and Gonzo and and....oh my gosh." The girl was so amazed, she was just lost for words.

"I....I'm sorry. Uh....my name's Misty." "Hey!" Gonzo said, looking up from his program. "You're the girl that played the cheerleader up there." "Yes. I am....I mean was," Misty said in embarrassment. "Hey what's there to be embarrassed about?" Walter asked. "We thought you were great up there, Misty." "Ohhh..." she said. "That's what they all say. People just say that to me just to make me feel good about myself. And sometimes, they never mean it. Especially when you're not playing a lead." "Well, we mean it," Walter replied. "We thought you were hilarious up there." "Do you take your word on it, Walter?" she asked. "Of course," he replied. "We are honest, good hearted, Muppets." Suddenly, Misty and Walter turned around and saw Animal, hitting his head against the seat in front of him and yelling "BAD SHOW! BAD SHOW!" Walter then turned back to Misty and said "Most of the time."

"Hey, listen. Maybe we should talk some more over some ice cream. My mom doesn't mind," Misty suggested. "But where are we going to find an ice cream place around here, Misty?" Fozzie asked. "They sell ice cream at the gas station not even a mile away. All the flavors you can think of," she replied. "Well then, let's get on the bus and get us some ice cream!" Dr. Teeth said in excitement. "ICE CREAM! ICE CREAM! ICE CREAM!" Animal yelled.

"Mmmm. You're right, Misty," Kermit said, still eating his ice cream. "This ice cream is amazing." "I know," Misty said. "I think I'd rather be eating ice cream at the gas station with the Muppets rather than go to my cast party." Then suddenly, Walter spit out the ice cream he was eating and it accidentally hit Miss Piggy. "AHHHHHHH!" Miss Piggy yelled. "WHO SPIT ICE CREAM IN MY HAIR!!?!?!" Walter and Gonzo looked at each and Walter was the first to point and say "Gonzo did it." He quickly ran off to where Misty and Kermit were before Miss Piggy karate chopped Gonzo. "Misty," Kermit started. "Why don't you want to go to your cast party?"

"Because...."Misty started, took a deep breath and said "I really hated doing this production." "WHAT!?!?!?" all of The Muppets yelled at once. "It's true," she said. "I mean, don't get me wrong, I love acting and singing, but this production was just unfair." "You're telling us," Floyd agreed. "It was so unfair, I couldn't even take Animal to the bathroom when the show was going on." Misty couldn't help but chuckle there, but then she continued speaking "I mean....it just didn't seem right. Everything was cast all wrong. I mean...." "Some of them couldn't sing," Miss Piggy said. "Some of them couldn't dance," Scooter added in. "And a whole mud pile of them can't act," Fozzie lastly added in. "How'd you guys know what I was going to say?" Misty wondered. "We know....everything," Gonzo said. " Boy if we did our own production of Grease, we could prove that only people worth wanting and willing to perform deserve to perform," Walter said.

Suddenly, Kermit got an idea. "Walter," Kermit started. "What did you just say?" "We could prove that only people worth....." Walter started. "No the first thing," Kermit interrupted. "If we did our own production of Grease we could......." Walter started, again. "Yes!" Kermit interrupted, again. "Yes that's it! We could do our own production of Grease!" "That sounds like an awesome idea, Kermit," Misty agreed. "That way, you guys can prove that any production of Grease was better than my school's." "We will!" Walter said in determination. "We'll make it The Best Production of Grease.....EVER!" "Walter, have you been reading the plot line above?" Kermit asked in suspicion. "Yes I have!" Walter replied, still in a determined. "Okay. Just checking," Kermit said. "So what do you say, guys? Should we do it?"

The rest of the Muppets looked at each other for a moment and then nodded. "All we gotta say is," Dr. Teeth started. "Grease is the word, man!" "YEAH!" Everyone said in agreement and excitement. "We can do this, guys," Walter said. "Remember, we're all in this together!" "Walter, I think you just referenced the wrong musical right now," Misty said. "Ohhh, sorry," Walter said. "Man these breaking the fourth wall jokes are getting crazier......" "Than you?" Kermit asked. "Ummm, I think we should end this chapter before we do anymore musical references," Misty said.
--------------------------------------End of Chapter 1-------------------------------------------
Well, how'd you guys like this story so far? Sorry for the slow beginning. The later chapters will get a lot better, I promise.

Wow! I like where this is going. I had gone to productions of the musicals and I felt like some of them cannot act, sing, dance, or act. Well, that nakes perfect sense. So, I would like more please. Great start, eh? :smirk:

Chapter 2: "Role Call"

Throughout the next several days, Kermit, Misty and Walter all worked together to get all the copyright stuff cleared, beg people to produce it, and buy the scripts and libretto. And it wasn't easy so I have decided not to write a long and boring chapter about it. But, let's skip ahead to days later. It's now time to cast the roles.

The three decided not to hold auditions but let it be "first come, first serve." In short, because the three of them have trust in everyone with their talents, they know that whatever role fit them, fit them. Of the three, so far, Misty has been cast as Jan, one of the Pink Ladies. Kermit was directing the show and Walter was co-director.

"Okay, I think we have everyone cast..." Kermit said, looking at his clipboard. "No we don't, Kermit," Misty kindly argued. "We still have plenty of roles to fill. We don't even have the leads yet." "Oh yeah, you're right, Misty," Kermit said. "Kermie! Kermie!" a familiar called in the distance.

The voice was Miss Piggy, whom was rushing towards Misty and Kermit. "Hi, Piggy," Kermit said. "Kermie, moi has a very special request," Miss Piggy said. "I do not wish to play the role of Sandy." Kermit and Misty looked at each other in surprise. Miss Piggy? Turning down a lead like Sandy? This was rare. "Miss Piggy, this isn't like you, turning down a role like Sandy," Misty said. "I know," Miss Piggy responded. "However, there is ONE role and one role alone that moi wishes to play." "What role, Piggy?" Kermit asked.

"Rizzo!" Miss Piggy dramatically said. Then all of a sudden, Rizzo popped up out of nowhere. "Hey, anyone call my name?" he asked. "Get lost, garbage breath!" Miss Piggy yelled and kicked Rizzo out of sight. "Piggy," Kermit started. "You wanna play Rizzo?" "Of course!" Miss Piggy said arrogantly. "Moi was born to play that role! Plus, I get to insult whoever plays Sandy through song." Misty couldn't help but chuckle. She just couldn't wait to see Miss Piggy singing "Look At Me, I'm Sandra Dee." "I just can't wait," Misty said excitingly. "Merci bocoup, Misty," Miss Piggy said and then turned to Kermit. "Well, I must be off. I have a 2:00 M and P." "M and P?" Kermit asked, confused. "What's that?" "Mani and pedi," she answered. "It means manicure and pedicure," Misty translated in regular language to Miss Piggy's girl language. "Au revoir, mon capitan," Miss Piggy said and kissed Kermit on the cheek before she left.

Misty chuckled and started to ask "How long have you two....." "Don't ask," Kermit replied, not feeling like talking about him and Miss Piggy's relationship. "Anyways, who's going to play the two leads if Miss Piggy doesn't wanna play Sandy?" "I'll play Sandy!" Misty started, excitingly. Kermit gave her a look and responded "Nice try. But no dice." Misty frowned, but wasn't too disappointed. She was kind of expecting that anyways, but it was worth a shot to try. "Oh," she said. "Ahem, I mean, yeah. Who's going to play Danny and Sandy is the right question."

Suddenly they heard the sound of a bass guitar and singing. Kermit and Misty looked behind them and saw only Floyd, relaxing in one of the seats in the audience, playing his bass guitar and singing: "Last time I saw her, she sweetly kissed my lips...." "Hey Floyd!" Kermit called. Floyd looked up from playing his bass guitar and replied "Oh hey! What's up, my little green friend?" "You wanna play Danny?" Kermit asked. Floyd was silent for a minute, but then he shrugged and said "Sure." Kermit then looked back at Misty. "Okay, we have our Danny," she started. "Now we need Sandy." "If you wanna make my day even better....," Floyd started to call out from the audience. "Put Janice as Sandy." "Oh yeah!" Misty said in realization. "I forgot you two were going out. Strong?" "Strong," he replied, nodding. "Okay," Kermit started as he wrote down on his clipboard. "We have our Danny and Sandy." "What's next?" Misty said as she curiously looked over Kermit's shoulder to see what wrote down.

"Teen Angel," Kermit said. Then all of a sudden, Pepe and Link Hogthrob ran right up Kermit and Misty. "I wanna play Teen Angel!" they said at the same time. "No I wanna play Teen Angel!" "Listen here, shrimp," Link started. "You don't have the brawn and masculinity that Teen Angel has." "Ho yeah?" Pepe argued. "I have just as much masculinity and handsome looks as you. Even better! And it's PRAWN!" "Who wants to see someone who's only 2 feet tall as Teen Angel?" Link argued back. "I'm tall, lean and handsome." "And a pig," Pepe said. Pepe and Link then continued having their argument and even fist fought, while Kermit and Misty just stared at them weirdly. "They're arguing over a role that only sings one song and is only in the show for about 5 minutes....tops," Misty said. "Maybe we should break it up," Kermit suggested. "No, let them argue," she responded. "I love watching morons fight." Kermit then scribbled something down on his clipboard and then looked back up. "Okay, I think we have everyone....."

"Wait," Misty interrupted. "There's still one more role you need to cast." "What's that, Misty?" Kermit asked in wonder. "Kenickie," she replied, pointing to where it says "Kenickie" on Kermit's paper. "Oh!" Kermit realized. "Kermit, I think you should play Kenickie," Misty insisted. "What? Me?" he said in surprise. "No...I....I could never pull it off." "But it makes the most sense with Piggy as Rizzo," she responded. Then all of a sudden, Rizzo reappeared. "Hey! Did anyone just call my name...again?" he asked. "Rizzo, not now," Kermit said. "Oh...." Rizzo responded and walked off. "C'mon, Kermit," Misty begged. "Please...please play Kenickie....for Miss Piggy, at least. She'll be thrilled when she founds out you're playing Kenickie." Kermit then sighed and decided to give in. "Okay," Kermit said. "I'll do it.....for Piggy." "That's the spirit, Kermit," Misty said. He then wrote down his name next to where "Kenickie" was written. "Now we have everyone cast," Misty said, nodding.

The next day, Kermit put up the cast list for Grease right by the entrance to the auditorium:

The Muppet Players Present

The Teen Angel- Animal
"WHAT!?!?!?!" Pepe and Link said together in shock. "ANIMAL!!?!? TEEN ANGEL!!??!" Link and Pepe then looked behind them and saw Animal, rolling around on the floor. The two then looked at each other and ran off.
"Oh, Floyd!" Janice said in surprise and excitement. "Like you got me the role of Sandy?" "Of course," Floyd replied. "I can't be Danny without you as Sandy." "Oh, Floyd, like you shouldn't have," she said and hugged him. "I only give the best to my babe," he responded and kissed her cheek. Janice then grabbed Floyd's hand and went off with him.
"Vince Fontaine?" Gonzo asked in confusion. "Who's he?" "Gonzo, don't you remember?" Kermit said. "You asked for that role." "No I didn't," he replied. "I asked to play Sneezy." "Who's Sneezy?" Kermit asked. "You know, the other Burger Palace Boy," he replied. "The one that sneezes a lot but never gets a girlfriend." "Gonzo. we're doing Grease, not Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs." Kermit said back. "Oh....I forgot we did that already," Gonzo said in realization as he took the comic book entitled "Muppets Snow White." "Ugh," Kermit sighed. "This is going to be a very long fanfiction."
--------------------------------------------End of Chapter 2------------------------------------------
Yeah, I know this chapter was long, but this was a really fun chapter. Stay tuned for chapter 3! :halo:

Chapter 3: Mooning With Fozzie

Rehearsals for Grease began the following day and have been going on almost every day since. If the Muppets wanted to put on "The Best Production of Grease Ever" they had to work hard for it. They knew. They've been through it before. It wasn't as bad as what they had to go through in Manhattan back in the 80's, but it was still "serious." They all wanted to give everything they got.

"C'mon, Fozzie!" Misty said, dragging Fozzie along into the auditorium for rehearsal. "What's our rush, Misty?" he asked. "Don't you remember?" she asked. "Today's the day we start working on our duet." "We....have a......duet?" Fozzie asked, sounding nervous. "Yeah," Misty replied. "Mooning." Fozzie gulped. He really thought the song was a solo....but he was wrong. He has to sing a duet. The worst part of it is was is that he had to sing.......with a girl. "Oh...boy," Fozzie said, trying to sound enthusiastic.

Once everyone settled down, it was time for Fozzie and Misty to work on their duet. The two went onstage immediately. "Are you two ready?" Rowlf asked, whom was preparing himself by the piano. "We're ready, Rowlf. Whenever you are," Misty replied confidently. " "Mooning," right?" he asked to confirm. "Yup," she said. "Gee, I wonder what kind of moon it is...." Rowlf said. "It definitely isn't a half moon we're talking about," Fozzie joked, trying to stall him from playing the song. "Ah, waka waka!" "Fozzie, we're wasting precious time," Misty said, sounding serious now. "C'mon now, Rowlf, start the song."

With that, Rowlf immediately played the intro to "Mooning." It then quickly was time for Fozzie to sing, but he was speechless. He was so nervous that he just couldn't get the words out of his mouth. Rowlf stopped playing and turned to him. "Hey, are you okay, Fozzie?" he asked. Misty then turned to him. "Fozzie?" Misty asked. Fozzie stood there, frozen like a statue. "Are you nervous?" "Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee," he replied nervously. "I think I'll take that as a yes," she said. "Don't worry, Fozzie. You can do this. I'm right here with you, now don't fret, alright?" Fozzie took a deep breath and replied "Okay. I can do this. I can do this." Misty then turned back to Rowlf. "Start again, Rowlf." Rowlf then started up the song again.

Fozzie began to sing, sounding not as nervous as he was before, but still was a little:
I spend my days
Just mooning
So sad and blue
So sad and blue

I spend my nights
Just mooning
All over you

Misty then joined in singing:
All over who

Fozzie then sang:
Oh I'm so full of love as any fool can see
'Cause angels up above have hung the moon on me

Misty and Fozzie then sang together:
(Misty) Why must you go
(Fozzie) Why must I go

(Both) On mooning

(Fozzie) So all alone
(Misty) So all alone

(Fozzie) There would be no
(Misty) There would be no

(Both) More mooning

(Fozzie) If you would call me
(Misty) Up on the phone

Fozzie then sang alone, now sounding more confident than he was before:
I guess I'll keep on striking poses
'Till my cheeks have lost there roses

Misty and Fozzie sang together:
(Both) Mooning over you

(Fozzie) I'll stand behind
(Misty) You'll stand behind

(Both) You mooning

(Fozzie) Forever more
(Misty) Forever more

(Fozzie) Someday you'll find
(Misty) Someday I'll find

(Both) Me/You mooning

(Fozzie) At your front door
(Misty) At my front door

Fozzie then sang alone:
Oh, everyday at school I watch ya
Always will until I got you

Fozzie and Misty sang together:
Mooning too

Fozzie then lastly sang alone:
There's a moon out tonight

Everyone clapped and cheered after the two sang their song. "Hey, I did it!" Fozzie said excitingly. "I did it! I can sing a love duet! WOO!" "You sure can, Fozzie," Misty said in agreement. "Hey you wanna go out with me?" he suddenly asked. "Don't push it," she replied. The two then left the stage and went into the audience.

"Wow, what a lovely duet," Walter said. "You did great, Fozzie," "Thanks, Walter," Fozzie replied from behind. Walter then turned to Kermit whom was looking at his clipboard. "So what's next?" he asked. "Hmmm....I'm not sure," Kermit replied. "Ah! Floyd and Janice are up to do "You're The One That I Want." "Yeah, Janice and I got a situation about that......." Floyd responded coldly from behind.
------------------------------------------End of Chapter 3------------------------------------------
DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUUUUUN!!!! Had to leave you guys on a cliff hanger. The song Fozzie and Misty sing is "Mooning" from Grease. (This song was sung by Roger and Jan in the show. Not in the movie. They got two other random people to sing it.) Here's the song:

Three chapters in one day! WOOO!!!! Enjoy!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chapter 4: That's The Song We Don't Want!

"What's the matter, Floyd?" Kermit asked. He noticed that Floyd didn't look too happy, but what it was was just what he was wondering. Janice was right there behind him. "It's the song," Floyd replied. "Oh no. Not this again," Kermit said, annoyed. "I thought we settled things about....." "Not the theme song, man," he interrupted. "The song Janice and I have to sing near the end of the show." "What about it?" Walter wondered. "Like three words," Janice said, backing Floyd up. "We hate it." she and Floyd said together.

" "You're The One That I Want?" " Kermit asked. "But guys, every Grease fans knows that song by heart. It's the most memorable song in the show." "Listen, Kermit. You're a nice little dude and all, but.....we just can't take it anymore," Floyd explained. "That song is the most annoying love song on the face of the planet." "Fer sure," Janice agreed. "Okay, so what do you want me to do about it?" Kermit asked. "Like Floyd and I found this one song that was like cut from the show that we thought would be a lot better than You're The One That I Want," Janice explained. "What song is it?" Walter asked.

"We'll show you," Floyd said. He then clapped his hands and said "Okay guys, take it from the scene where Sandy enters with her new bad girl makeover." Floyd and the rest of the Burger Palace Boys (minus Kermit) headed onto the stage along with Janice and the rest of the Pink Ladies in their positions. Kermit looked at the script and then said "From your line, Janice." Janice nodded and said her line, "Like tell me about it, stud."

A guitar riff went off.

Floyd then sang:
Well...I...feel so strange.
Well upon my word
Now my brain is reelin' and my ey-y-y sight's blurred
Well I'm tremblin' alot.
I'm nervous and I'm hot
Uh-huh, I'm all choked up!

The tempo then got faster, and Floyd continued to sing:
Well there's a fire alarm wailin' in my head
And my cirriculation cries condition red
I'm in a cold sweat
My t-shirt's all wet
Uh-huh, I'm all choked up

He then flirtaciously glided towards Janice:
Oh baby baby baby
Take my heart before it breaks
My knees are weak and my back bone aches
My hands are colder than ice
My throat is locked in a vice
Come on and change my pain to paradise!

Well there's a fever key runnin' through my skin
Don't you hear me knockin'
Won't ya let me in
You know I'm your fool
So don't you be cruel
Uh-huh, I'm all choked up!

The Pink Ladies minus Janice sang:
Now listen here!

Janice then sang:
So you're spinnin' around in a dizzy spell
It's a situation I know prettty well
Well I been there too
So I feel for you
Uh-huh, I'm all choked up

The Pink Ladies minus Janice sang:
And furthermore:

Janice sang as she playfully flirted with Floyd:
So you're down and out; You're against up a wall
And you say that I'm the one that did it all
Well I'm sure you're sincere
Oh oh, It gets me right here
Oh, I'm all choked up.

Oh baby
Take it slow and don't complain
My poor heart just can't stand this strain
I can cure your disease
Come on and say pretty please ("Pretty please, my main squeeze!" Floyd cried out.)
Take your medicine down on your knees!

Floyd, infatuated, sang:
Got a fever
A hundred-four fahrenheit
Need your lovin'
Can I come over tonight?
Feelin' low down
My equilibrium's shot
Give me
The tranquilizer you got!

Dr. Teeth and Zoot threw them their guitars from offstage, in which they both successfully caught.

Floyd continued to sing:
Oh baby take my ring
Cause you're my match

Janice sang:
Well I still think there's strings attached

Floyd sang:
You're writin' my epitaph

Janice sang:
Like that's just tough and a half.

Floyd sang:
You're gonna make me die!

Janice sang:
Don't make me laugh!

The two then sang together and played their guitars at the same time:
Well I'll forgive for what you put me through
Cause I do believe you really love me too
I look in your eyes
The suffering dies
Uh-huh, I'm all choked up

The Burger Palace Boys and Pink Ladies sang:
Hey hey hey yeah!

Janice and Floyd sang:
I'm all choked up

The Burger Palace Boys and Pink Ladies sang:
Hey hey hey yeah!

Janice and Floyd finally sang:
I'm all choked up!
(Burger Palace Boys and Pink Ladies)
Uh huh shoo be doo wop
Uh huh shoo be doo wop
Uh huh shoo be doo wop

All finally sang:
Yeah!

Kermit and Walter just looked at each other after the song was over. Silence. After a few minutes, Kermit finally said "That was.............................single handedly the worst love song I've ever heard!" "I tried to tell them that, Kermie," Miss Piggy said from onstage. "You either put "All Choked Up" in the show, or you can go find yourselves a new Danny and Sandy," Floyd threatened. Kermit then turned to Walter. "What now?" Kermit asked. "We might as well just put it in," Walter said, giving in. "I mean, from what it looked like up there, they directed, choreographed and sang it really well."

Kermit then glanced at everyone onstage, then back at Walter, and then back again at everyone onstage."I have no choice," Kermit said, sighing. "All Choked Up is in." Everyone onstage, especially Floyd and Janice, were excited when they heard the news. "Like we did it, Floyd! We did it!" Janice said, excited. She hugged Floyd and kissed him all over his face. Floyd blushed, but replied "I'm glad."

"Hey, Walter," Kermit started. "When did you say we the show was going to be on?" "The 28th," Walter replied. "Why?" Kermit's eyes then widened and then asked "What day is today?" "The 20th," Walter replied. Kermit's eyes widened even more. Everyone on the stage then fell silent. They were scared. They all were. They were so scared somebody even fainted onstage (They forgot who though). They knew what was coming. Crunch time had come sooner than expected.
--------------------------------------------End of Chapter 4--------------------------------------
Uh oh! Leaving you on another cliff hanger. Dun dun DUUUUUUUUUUUN!!!!! Anyways, how are you guys enjoying the story so far? And one more thing, the song is "All Choked Up" from the Original Broadway Cast of Grease. (I just thought this song would be better for Floyd and Janice than "You're The One That I Want," personally.) And speaking of that, here's the song:

Chapter 5: Crunch Time (And Not The Good One Either)

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Everyone all freaked out after. "Walter!?!?" Kermit yelled. "Do you realize we've only got eight days to pull all of this together!?!?!" "It was the only date the producer said was available for us to do the show," Walter explained. "I'm sorry." "It's not your fault," Kermit said, still worried but calming down a little. He really didn't want to yell at Walter. After all, he was still new to the Muppet community. But that's not Kermit's worry right now. His worry was trying to put together the show in EIGHT days. That's pretty much only a week. Not even a month, a week.

"Okay, everyone!" Kermit then said. "From the top of the show! Places!" Everyone then scrambled to take their positions for the opening number, "Grease." The Muppets felt that putting in that other opening number made no sense, so they just added in the opening number from the movie. The music then began to play and the company began to sing: "I solve my problems and I see the light. We got a lovin' thing, we gotta feed it right. There ain't no danger we could go too far. We start believin' now that we can........"

"STOP! STOP!" Kermit yelled. "What's the matter, Kermit?" Misty asked from onstage. "Something's missing," he replied. "What is it?" Walter asked. "I think moi knows the answer," Miss Piggy replied. "Well...what's missing, Miss Piggy?" Misty asked. Miss Piggy then turned to Kermit and yelled "KERMIT! Get up here!" "Wha...." Kermit began to say, but realized something. HE'S supposed to be in the opening number, too. HE'S Kenickie. HE almost forgot. WHY do I keep capitalizing HE? "Oh shut it, narrator!" Miss Piggy snapped. Uhhh....sorry.

So, the cast worked day and night nonstop trying to perfect "Grease." Everyone danced till they dropped. Sang till their throats couldn't take it anymore. And acted until.......until....well you get the point.

"Kermit, we're like so tired," Janice complained. "Yeah, I haven't slept in days," Floyd added in. "And Animal hasn't even touched his drum in days..." "AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!! DRUM! NEED DRUM! NEED DRUM!" Animal yelled while rolling on the floor. "Guys we're gonna keep practicing until this perfect!" Kermit commanded back. "Remember, we gotta make this the best production of Grease ever!" The cast looked at each other. Kermit? Of all people? A perfectionist? This wasn't like him at all. "Kermit, we didn't say it had to be the best production," Misty said, being the brave soul to stand up to him. "We just wanted the production to be better than my school's." Everyone in the cast nodded.

"This just isn't like you, Kermit," Misty continued. "Being a perfectionist...when did that ever come in play? We just wanted to have fun doing this show, not make it a theater boot camp!" Kermit fell silent. No comment, whatsoever. Misty then turned to the rest of the cast. "C'mon guys, we're going on break." The rest of the company then headed out of the auditorium. Everyone.......except Walter.

He was worried about Kermit, but then again also felt like Kermit was working everyone too hard. "Walter?" Misty called before leaving. "Are you coming or what?" Walter turned to Kermit and then back at Misty and then back at Kermit. He then went up to where Misty was and headed out of the auditorium with her, leaving Kermit all alone in the auditorium.

After Walter left, Kermit gave a long sigh. "What have I done?" Kermit thought to himself. "I've turned into a perfectionist monster. I wasn't thinking clearly. Now....who knows if the show will ever happen.....but.....I gotta win them back. I gotta get them back!" Kermit then stood up from the chair and yelled out "You hear me, world! I'm gonna win them back! We're gonna have a great production of Grease....it won't be perfect....but it'll be great! Wait....why this does speech sound somewhat familiar?" He then shrugged and headed out of the auditorium to find the rest of the cast.
