Gorgs, Silly Creatures, and Where They Live

I was watching some of Season 1 today and a question that I had long forgotten was rekindled.

We know that the Fraggles are subterranean creatures living somewhere between outer space and the Gorg World. However, where do the Gorgs and Humans live in relation to each other? Would it be possible for Doc and Junior to bump into each other? Is there possibly a forest preserve on the other side of Doc's house where the Gorgs live? Or do they live in alternate universes, therefore unable to meet?

The reason I ask is that it appears that the Fraggles live "indoors," but both the Gorg and Silly Creature sets are built in outside locations. Any information or opinions would be great.

I think that's part of the magic of The Rock. It's the link between "Outer Space", and the somewhat parallel universe where the Gorgs live.

It's fascinating that items from the Gorgs' world can occasionally appear in ours, but IMO it's it's own fantasy realm, connected with The Rock.

Ya know, I never thought of that, but as immense as Fraggle Rock is, it must extend to under the Gorgs' castle. Hey, maybe that's why there are some "Falling Rock Zones", lol.
